A.	The shelf life of LiquaDrive^TM is 24 months before opening – the expiration date is stamped on the bottom of the bottle. Once opened, you can keep the product up to two months, if kept refrigerated.

Q.	If the LiquaDrive^TM product freezes will it affect the quality?
A.	No. Freezing does not affect the quality or nutritional value.

Why are the new Mineral Soap and Moisturizing Mineral Soap different from our previous soaps?

NatureRich hired experienced research and development professionals to develop our own proprietary formulas and manufacturing process. We began manufacturing these products as of April 2004 and improved the soaps by using our own blend of the highest quality minerals and natural ingredients available. Due to the improved formula and a unique, high-grade manufacturing process, the following differences will be noticeable:

A natural moss-green color – The color is derived from natural plant chlorophyll.
Less sudsing action – There are limitations to the amount of suds and bubbles that can be created and maintained when using only natural ingredients. Synthetic ingredients are normally used to create the sudsing action to which we have become accustomed. Lots of suds and bubbles are pretty and fun, however the sudsing action bears absolutely no relationship to cleansing or cleaning performance. Our goal is to maintain the highest "sudsing" activity possible without using synthetic chemicals.
A new natural scent – The typical “soap smell” of the soaps that we are most familiar with is from synthetic chemicals and artificial fragrances. The new scent is taken from plant leaves, petals and flowers.
Viscosity or thickness – You may notice a slight difference in the viscosity or thickness of the new soap. NatureRich, Inc. determines the exact viscosity as part of our proprietary formula. A thicker viscosity was chosen to meet the majority consumer preference. The viscosity does not affect the cleaning performance or amount you should use.

Q.	Will freezing affect the quality and effectiveness of the products?
A.	No. Freezing has no affect on the quality and effectiveness of our products. In order to provide you with healthy, natural products, no anti-freezing agents are used. Due to this, products will freeze when exposed to cold temperatures for prolonged periods of time. Frozen product can be thawed either at room temperature or by placing the bottle, with the cap on, in hot water. DO NOT MICROWAVE.

Q.	What type of water is used in the products?
A.	Our water is purified using an efficient reverse osmosis (R/O) system and a 5-stage carbon block filtration process.

Q.	Do airport scanners affect the products?
A.	The scanning devices used at airports have no affect on our products.

Q.	What is the difference between Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and Ultra-Fortified Mineral Neutralizer?
A.	The Ultra-Fortified Neutralizer has a higher concentration of minerals and more energy than the Fortified Mineral Neutralizer. Typically, people who want a greater concentration of minerals will use the Ultra-Fortified Neutralizer.

Why does the Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and the Ultra-Fortified Mineral Neutralizer need to be refrigerated AFTER OPENING?

The Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and the Ultra-Fortified Mineral Neutralizer are mineral-rich solutions derived from natural ingredients that maintain a benchmark pH of 8.3. AFTER OPENING, they can be exposed to a number of bacteria sources in your home. Since they are natural products, we recommend that they be refrigerated to reduce the oxidation process which can promote the growth of bacteria. Our Neutralizers are similar to many food products that will stay fresher and last longer if kept refrigerated.

Why do the Fortified Mineral Neutralizer, Ultra-Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and the Energizing Mineral Bath test below 7.0 on the litmus paper?

If testing our self-manufactured products using the pH litmus paper, you will not receive an accurate pH reading since our products contain a complete balanced solution of minerals. The manufacturer of the pH litmus paper stated that their pH litmus paper IS NOT designed to test high quality products such as these. The hydrogen ions attach to the minerals in our products, which become masked by the minerals causing the reading you receive from the litmus paper to ONLY be a rough indication of pH.

The pH of NatureRich products is measured with extremely accurate pH meters. Samples are tested during production, and results are verified by an outside, independent laboratory. Our Fortified Mineral Neutralizers and Energizing Mineral Bath both maintain a benchmark pH value of 8.3.

Q.	Are the products anti-bacterial?
A.	No. As we are learning, anti-bacterial products may be causing more harm than good since stronger, more resistant bacteria can arise as a result of introducing anti-bacterial products into the environment.

Q.	Are the products safe for septic systems?
A.	Yes, our natural products are safe for septic systems.

Q.	What type of bottle is used?
A.	We use the best suited bottle for our product; a high-density polyethylene, food grade bottle that is alkaline tolerant and recyclable.

Does the Deodorant Stone have alum in it?

Yes, the deodorant is made from potassium alum and ammonium alum. Alum is NOT the abbreviation of aluminum and poses different chemical properties than aluminum. The molecular structure of the alum compound is large and has a negative ionic charge and is unable to pass through the cell wall. The NatureRich Deodorant Stone is not an anti-perspirant and does not contain any aluminum chlorhydrate and aluminum zirconium which are the substances in anti-perspirants that clog the pores and do not allow the body to perspire (a natural and required function of the body).

Q.	Why is refrigeration of the Fortified Mineral Gel NOT required after opening?
A.	The Gel has different ingredient characteristics than the Neutralizers and does not require refrigeration. The thickeners in the Gel reduce bacteria growth.

Q.	Why is it recommended to NOT use a pump with the Regular and Ultra-Fortified Mineral Neutralizer?
A.	Since they are natural products, we recommend that they are tightly sealed and refrigerated AFTER OPENING to reduce oxidation and prolong freshness. A pump does not allow the bottle to be sealed tightly.

Q.	What is the shelf life of the Deodorant Stone and Mist?
A.	The Deodorant Stone and Mist contain natural mineral salts that are “self-preserving.” Due to their natural salt composition there is no shelf life limit.

What is the shelf life of NatureRich Greens?

On the bottom of each jar of NatureRich Greens is a small white label, and on the back of the single serving packets are two printed numbers. One number is the Lot Number of the production run, and the other number is a “Best Before” date code that indicates the month and year (2 years from the date of manufacture). If the product is not opened, a person can expect that within this 2-year period of time the product will remain fresh and useable. Once opened, it is best to consume the contents within 30 to 60 days. If a person does not intend to consume the product within this 30 to 60 day time period, the product should be refrigerated to assist in maintaining freshness. Even if refrigerated, it is best for the product to be consumed within 6 months once opened.
